St Patrick’s Day 5K
Rose Again Foundation teamed up with Sandyfeet Events to be the charity partner for their St Patrick’s Day 5K ( aka St Paddy’s Day 5K) held each year in the Temecula / Murrieta area in March.
Rose Again receives a donation from race proceeds based on the number of volunteers and runners we bring to the event. This is a fun way to give back in support of local foster children and emancipated foster youth living in our community.
Foster kids and their families take part in the race as volunteers and runners. Rose Again Foundation pays the race fee for local foster kids who want to run the race as part of Team RAF (Rose Again Foundation).
The St Patrick’s Day 5K is small in size and big on fun!
Every attendee is Irish that day. Many dress head to toe in their favorite Irish attire and enter the best-dressed contest. Enjoy lively Irish music and dancing. Runners over age 21 are treated to green champagne after crossing the finish line.
Rose Again Foundation has partnered with Sandyfeet Events for five consecutive years for the St Patrick’s Day 5K in March and the Temecula Half Marathon and 5K that takes place in October.
This family-friendly event is a favorite of many of our volunteers, foster families and runners. For more information on how you can get involved as a volunteer, runner, vendor or sponsor go to our contact page. Thank you.
